Short stays

Channels

In development

Nightly listings, without the double booking.

Publish a unit as a short let and keep its calendar in step with Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. One calendar decides whether a night is free — the same one your long leases already write to.

  • Publish a unit as a nightly listing
  • Two-way calendar sync over iCal
  • Bookings refused when the unit is already let

Short stays does not exist yet. This page describes what is being built, and there is no date on it — when we can hold one we will publish it here. Everything else on this site works today.

How it works

This is what Short stays will do. It is being built now, and nothing below works yet — the honest version of this page is more use to you than an optimistic one.

  1. 01

    Publish the unit

A unit you already hold becomes a nightly listing, with the photographs, the address and the area page it already has.

  2. 02

    Sync the calendar

Two-way iCal with the channels you list on. A night booked elsewhere closes here; a night booked here closes there.

  3. 03

    One calendar wins

A unit under a long lease cannot be booked for a night inside that lease. The availability calendar is shared, so the refusal happens before the booking, not in an apology afterwards.

Works with

It plugs into the properties you already hold

Every app reads the same properties, units and contacts. That is the whole design: adding one never means entering your portfolio a second time.

Properties & Units

A nightly listing is a unit you already hold, with the same photographs and the same address.

Rentals

A unit on a long lease is blocked for those dates, so mixing long and short lets across a portfolio cannot double-book anything.

Questions

Before you ask

When will it be ready?

There is no date. When we can hold one, it will be published here — and not before. A date we miss costs more than a date we never gave.

Is this an Airbnb product?

No. Short stays is ours. It syncs with Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo over iCal, the open calendar format those platforms publish. PropertyView is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of them.

Can I use PropertyView for short lets today?

Partly. You can hold the unit, photograph it, publish it and take enquiries today. What is missing is the nightly calendar and the channel sync.

Will it cost extra?

We are not quoting a price for something that does not exist yet. Everything currently on the shelf is included.

For Landlords & Property Managers

Put your units in front of people already looking.

Listing is free, and every app runs on the same properties and units — so the work you do to let a place is the work that keeps your books straight.
